Is Everyone trying to Buy Below Market Value?

Image
As you know we’ve recently released a report on how to make BMV property profits by finding and helping motivated sellers. This is a great way to make money from property in the current Buyers’ Market, especially as the credit crisis is preventing a lot of people from buying in the traditional way.

However, it seems that everyone is using this strategy at the moment, if you look in your local paper you’ll probably see lots of ads promising to ‘Sell Your House Fast For Cash’. There’s no doubt that this is an extremely lucrative system and with the promise of No Money Down, tenants from the get-go, potential positive cash flow and even cash back on completion, this is a no brainer – right? There seems to be a lot of competition out there, but is this really the case? How many of these companies actually know what they are doing enough to turn their claims into profit?

Often motivated sellers contact a number of companies who promise to sell their house quickly but then leave the sellers waiting for weeks before they get an offer. This can be infuriating as that the main reason the property is being sold below market value is because the money is needed urgently.

All in all, it might seem that there’s a lot of competition, but most of them won’t be acting as professionally as they should be so if you decide to take this route make sure you understand the importance of building a rapport with the seller and acting quickly to ensure success for yourself and the desired outcome for the seller. To find out more about dealing with motivated sellers or buying below market value read our latest report ‘Below Market Value Profits’ which you can download here.

"Since my intitial contact with BTLI I've never looked back and now buying my second Caribbean property. I've had calls and emails from many other companies, but have never entertained them. BTLI are always willing and helpful, their service is fantastic and my confidence building in time. Not only this, BTLI offer excellent property deals and I wish I could purchase them all! I will no doubt continue my relationship with BTLI on a long term basis and would recommend them to anyone."

"It has become increasingly difficult over the past couple of years to source the right deals, Buy To Let Investors fill that gap by coming up with great deals time and time again. As well as investments in the UK I have now followed them abroad in some of the best deals I have come across anywhere. The last three properties I have purchased have all come from the team."
Martyn H. Leicester

James S

"Having already purchased through Buy To let Investors and personally experiencing their bridging system first hand has given me the confidence to go out and source my own BMV deals. I have already negotiated two deals which are now proceeding to completion and I hope to purchase many more over the coming months."
