Why it's called a Property Portfolio |

To be described as a portfolio, there must be at least two properties being currently managed or owned for profit. In fact, when many investors speak of a portfolio they have a goal of 10 properties as it’s likely that if you can achieve this you’ll have undoubtedly provided a pension for your retirement.
Realistically, if you can get to a point where you’ve paid off the mortgage to your own home plus three investment properties it’s safe to say that you can retire with a roof over your head and an income which is goes up with the rate of inflation.
Any additional properties are all about lifestyle, i.e. the more properties you own, the more your life will be enhanced.
While it’s best to aim for 10 or more properties, your first goal for the portfolio should be one or two if you are not a seasoned investor. This is so you can mentally and emotionally prepare yourself to build a larger portfolio.
So now all you need to decide is how many properties you’d you like to have in your portfolio! |
